Information You Submit
Search Entries
When you enter a name, location, or other term into a search tool, the request is sent to the third-party provider that operates that feature. Caldwell County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s handling of the request is governed by its own privacy terms and technical practices.
Messages You Send
If you send an email or submit a contact form, we retain the message and the contact details you provide so we can review and answer it. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law, such as through a valid court order or other lawful demand.
Technical Data and Cookies
Basic technical information may be recorded when a page loads. This data helps the site function, reveals broad usage patterns, and supports troubleshooting. Depending on the service involved, the information may include:
- Your Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on them
- The referring website, when that information is available
- Dates and timestamps connected with visits
Cookie Controls
Cookies and similar browser storage may be used to understand how visitors move through the site and to support site or advertising functions. You may block or remove cookies through your browser settings. Some features may then work differently or may not retain preferences.
How Information Is Used
Collected information is used only for operational, search-routing, measurement, technical, and advertising purposes associated with the service. Those purposes include:
- Operating the site and maintaining reasonable page speed
- Sending search requests to the appropriate partner service
- Understanding which Caldwell County release-record pages visitors use
- Finding errors, security concerns, and other technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may be selected according to likely interests
External Sites and Advertising
Caldwell County Released Inmates links to the sheriff’s release and detention resources, Missouri Department of Corrections pages, court and government portals, and third-party search tools. Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, governs access to many official state and local public records, but each linked operator controls its own website and privacy practices. Once you follow an outside link, review that operator’s privacy notice before submitting information.
Some advertising partners may use their own cookies, pixels, or similar tools to recognize activity across different websites and select ads based on inferred interests. That tracking occurs through the partner’s systems, not through a separate personal-data file maintained by Caldwell County Released Inmates.
Who May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be transmitted or disclosed when needed to provide a feature, measure the service, deliver advertising, or comply with a binding legal requirement. Possible recipients are:
- Search partners that process the queries sent to their tools
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and site performance
- Advertising networks that deliver or measure advertisements
- Law enforcement agencies or other government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
We use standard administrative and technical practices intended to protect information within our control. No website, network, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Caldwell County Released Inmates therefore cannot promise that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or a security incident will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes that a minor submitted personal data, contact us and identify the submission so we can review and delete information within our control when appropriate.
